Quality Assurance & Manufacturing Quality Control

Quality issues caught at the right stage cost a fraction of those caught after delivery. We manage quality at every stage of production — from material verification through in-process checks to pre-shipment inspection.

Where Quality Happens

Moradabad roots. Factory-floor visibility.

Production, inspection and packing happen through our Moradabad factory network. These archival factory records provide context; the sharper production images below show the practical checks behind current product programs.

Our Approach

Quality management built into the process — not bolted on at the end

Most quality problems in manufacturing are not discovered at pre-shipment inspection — they are created much earlier: in material selection, at the start of production, or when a process step is skipped under schedule pressure.

HCI's approach to quality is process-integrated — we check at the stages where problems can still be corrected cost-effectively, not just at the final inspection when the cost of fixing issues is highest.

Our quality management is built on 20+ years of understanding sheet-metal forming, welding, seam quality, galvanized and painted finishes, drainage, handles, nesting and export packaging.

Quality Checkpoints We Manage

  • Raw material verification before production starts
  • First-article inspection at production start
  • In-process checks at key production stages
  • Surface treatment and finishing review
  • Pre-shipment inspection against approved samples
  • Packing and labelling verification
Inside Real Production

Real checks. Real batches. Real pack-outs.

Quality is easier to trust when you can see the work behind it. These images come from Handikraft product programs and show the practical checks used before goods move forward.

From The Inspection Archive

A final check should leave a useful record.

Selected archive images show how a batch moves from production readiness to scan, packing and dispatch checks. Buyer names, order references and full reports remain confidential.

Quality Stages

Quality management across the production cycle

01

Sample Approval

Production samples reviewed and approved before any production quantity is confirmed. Approved samples become the quality standard for production.

02

Material Verification

Raw materials checked against specification before production begins. Wrong materials at this stage cause cascading quality issues downstream.

03

First Article

First production pieces checked against approved sample — confirming that production is running to the right standard before the full run proceeds.

04

In-process Checks

Quality checked at key mid-production stages. Defects identified early can be corrected; defects found at shipment cannot.

05

Pre-shipment Inspection

Final inspection of finished goods against approved sample and buyer specifications before packing for shipment.

06

Packing Verification

Packing, labelling and documentation verified before shipment — ensuring retail-ready presentation reaches buyers as specified.

Why Our Approach Works

Early detection, honest communication, on-ground presence.

Early

Early Stage Detection

Problems found at material stage cost a fraction of those found at pre-shipment or after delivery. Our multi-stage approach prevents the expensive late-stage surprises.

Honest

Honest Reporting

We report quality issues accurately — including when the right decision is to reject production and redo. Long-term relationships require honest quality communication.

Local

On-ground Access

Being in Moradabad means we can be at a factory the same day a quality issue emerges — not managing it remotely over email from a different timezone.
